英语学习者只见过matter n. 物质，事物。但是，不知道matter当动词的意思，更不知道它的用法。关于matter当动词的用法，在许多词典中很难找到，因为例句实在少的可怜，大家不容易理解。

matter v 重要的。相当于be important

1. What he said just now matters very much. 他刚才说的很重要。
2. It doesn't matter. 没关系。
3. It matters a lot. 关系重大。

因为matter是行为动词，所以用do,does,did构成一般疑问句。
